The computer, I feel, is one of the most important technological inventions to benefit society. They help you learn what is going on in the world, let alone know where that place is your looking for to learn about or, even, go there. When you can find out what is going on in the world with a computer you can try and help out. Computers also help, now a day, with homework for kids and college students. College students that use computers can find information for there classes and even look for applications and jobs in their field. Finally, people that have any type of job can use computers for it. People can use computers for doing the stock market to doctors and hospitals. Computers are only getting better day-by-day and there is an unlimited way to use them.

The computer is known to not have one inventor. The computer gets more information packed into it everyday. The computer today is at the best it has been and you can get more news off of it since the television. With the war we are having today, we get more information daily. Looking on the ”web” as we call it, you can look at many different resources. You can even look on news websites for other local information in your community. It is that easy. Children, as young as three, can use the computer and learn from it,. Over half of the United States children can type and search the web for facts. Kids are getting very tech savvy these days at a very young age.

For kids, teens, and students in college, the computer can help them for test and quizzes, learning how to type, to even knowing how many bones are in your body. Kids in elementary school learn to type, mathematic skills and so much more through all of there schooling. When in college there are many websites that students can use for sources on papers and projects too. Many college students or even teens looking for jobs, or even colleges, can use the computer for this reason. You can fill out many job applications and college applications with the computer. You can even go on a search engine such as Google and Yahoo and type your questions or contacts to learn more about them. This can later help in the future because everyday there is more and more information you can look up. When you type in a search engine as a college student you get more than one link to help you. Having many links to look at give you a wide range of information.

Working class men and woman are also getting tech savvy as well. In a recent, yet changed very much, Youtube video called “Shift happens” it says that computers will soon be able to see skeletal x-rays. How outstanding is that? For workers in the advertising business, they can make so many colorful, enjoyable, real ways to get people to sign-up, buy things, and even help other people out. The movies you watch from Pixar, which is a Disney bought movie-making industry, are all made from amazing programs put onto computers. Even Hospitals, can put microscopes in computers and do a surgery for important parts of your body. There are endless possibilities. All of it just keeps enhancing so much.

Computers are used everyday over millions of times. We used to have to make it through school without using computers and we did it well. Today, we use computers and we do it better. From learning about the news, to helping students write reports, to playing games, for fun, and to getting the job done, we all use a computer in some way, shape, or form, and they help use. Starting out as a typewriter that only let us learn to type, to getting us more electronically involved. Computers have made a big step in history in getting more advanced. Soon you will probably be able to buy your groceries on the Internet. More ways to benefit society happens all the time.
